Dear ISfTE Members:
In accordance with the Constitution of ISfTE, the Secretary-General has organized a committee for the purpose of overseeing the process to elect ISfTE Members-at-Large. We require three individuals to serve as Members-at-Large for a 3-year term (2025-2028).
We are also calling for nominations for the new Secretary General. New Secretary General will receive guidance from the current Secretary General for one year.
Current members of ISfTE are invited to nominate colleagues or themselves for these positions. The Election committee and the current Executive board want to encourage all ISfTE members to consider running for a position of Members-at-Large, particularly those members located in countries not currently represented on the board. A list of current Board members can be seen here: https://isfte.org/about-isfte-2/executive-board/
Members-at-large play an important role in the operation of our Society. They serve in an advisory capacity to the Secretary-General and are voting members of the ISfTE Executive Board. They may also serve as members of sub-committees that deal with issues identified by the Executive Board.
Members-at-Large normally attend the annual ISfTE Seminar and the Executive Board meeting, which occurs the day prior to the opening of the annual Seminar. This year the Executive Board meeting will happen in Norway on May 12, 2025. Individuals elected will officially begin their term at the conclusion of the 2025 Seminar.
Candidates must provide a statement (maximum 350 words) detailing their association with ISfTE and what they hope to contribute to the society in the position of Member-at-Large and or Secretary General. Statements will be posted on the ISfTE website. Nomination information and personal statements are due by Friday, February 14th. Elections will take place shortly thereafter.
Please send nominations to:
